The purpose of this website is to introduce Kris Hehl, describe the kinds of travel Kris Hehl plans, and let travelers start a conversation. Sample itineraries, pre-designed tours, journal entries, and any figures shown are for inspiration and general reference only.
Nothing on this website is an offer, a quotation, a guarantee of availability, or a contract. A trip is only confirmed once it has been booked through The Travel Agent Next Door or the relevant supplier and written confirmation has been issued.
No booking and no payment happen on this website. When a traveler decides to proceed, the booking is made through The Travel Agent Next Door and the relevant travel suppliers (for example airlines, hotels, cruise lines, rail operators, tour operators, ground operators, and insurers). Any deposit or payment is made directly and securely to The Travel Agent Next Door or to the supplier, never to this website.
Each booking is governed by the terms and conditions of The Travel Agent Next Door and of every supplier involved in that trip. Those terms set out the rules for deposits, changes, cancellations, refunds, and the responsibilities of each party. They are provided before a booking is confirmed, and travelers are encouraged to read them carefully.
Because travel is booked through The Travel Agent Next Door as a TICO-registered and Consumer Protection BC licensed business, bookings carry the consumer protections that those frameworks provide. Details of that protection are explained at the time of booking.
The availability and cost of trip cancellation insurance and out-of-province or out-of-country emergency medical insurance are discussed at the time of booking. Travelers decide whether to purchase insurance and are responsible for reading the policy wording and any conditions.
Some of the pre-designed group tours featured on this website are operated by an established licensed operator. For these tours, the traveler contracts directly with that operator and pays the operator directly, under the operator's own booking conditions and financial protection.
In these cases Kris Hehl introduces the tour and helps coordinate the arrangements, but Kris Hehl is not the operator of the tour and is not the party the traveler pays. The operator's terms, cancellation rules, and protection scheme apply to those bookings. Travelers should review the operator's conditions before booking.
Reasonable care is taken to keep the information on this website current and correct. Even so, prices, availability, supplier offerings, itineraries, and travel requirements change often and without notice. Information on this website may become out of date, and it is not a binding quote.
